BURNS NIGHT DINNER

We will be hosting a special Burns Night Dinner in our main restaurant, whisky based cocktails with canapés on arrival before 5 more delicious courses. We will have a piper, some poetry and a whisky trolley to round off the evening with some expert knowledge to guide you through an optional tasting flight.
The menu for the evening will be:
Rusty Nail or Traditional Whisky Sour – served with canapés
Venison carpaccio with horseradish & rocket; Sea trout blinis with crème fraîche;
Haggis scotch egg with celeriac remoulade
Traditional Scotch broth with parmesan crisp
Beetroot & whisky cured salmon gravadlax with charred lemon, dill & cucumber
Venison & haggis wellington with turnip & potato terrine, glazed parsnips, crispy kale and blackberry jus
Raspberry cranachan trifle with lemon shortbread
Scottish cheese boards from Neal’s Yard Dairy, biscuits and spiced pear chutney
Coffee or tea with Scottish tablet
£79 per person, 6.45 arrival for a 7.15pm sit down
