Charles Heidsieck Champagne Dinner

Fri 1 November 24,  7:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Charles Heidsieck Champagne Dinner

Friday 1st November, 7pm

At just 29 years of age founder Charles Heidsieck was the original “Champagne Charlie” who galvanised the markets in both America and Britain in the 19th Century, and established Champagne as a global superstar beverage.

Today, Charles Heidsieck is broadly acknowledged as one of the greatest of all Champagne houses and has been a long-term, firm favourite at The Old Bridge. Over the last two decades, few can boast a more consistent, or highly decorated collection of commendations, including over 100 Gold medals, 32 Trophies and named Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year an astonishing 14 times by The International Wine Challenge.

Francesca d’Albertanson – Brand Ambassador – will guide us through their dynamic range, including tasting their White, Rosé, Blanc de Blancs, and Vintage styles accompanied by a very special menu designed by Head Chef Luke McKenna.

This promises to be an indulgent and memorable occasion!

The menu for the evening will be;

Canapés:
Tempura tiger prawns with lime mayo; Pea & mint arancini; Smoked salmon blinis;
Beef carpaccio with rocket & horseradish; Wild mushroom vol au vents

Tomata, goats’ cheese and basil tart with balsamic glaze

Roast rump of lamb with dauphinoise potatoes, sauteed runner beans, tenderstem broccoli and mint salsa

Spiced fig cake with clotted cream vanilla ice cream and fig syrup

£125 per person, limited to just 40 guests.
