JOURNEY THROUGH THE RHONE FINE WINE TASTING & DINNER
Thursday 27th February, 7pm
The mighty river Rhône starts its life in Switzerland and exits into the Mediterranean. Most importantly it was the historical highway by which the Romans first introduced a range of grape varieties into France.
Today, this region is home to some of the most famous regions and names in the world – such as Côte-Rôtie, Hermitage, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Split into two distinct areas – the tiny North and expansive South – The Old Bridge has a fine and extensive Rhône cellar including such names as Jean Louis Chave, Domaine Jamet, and Vieux Télégraphe.
Nick Adams MW will showcase a cross section of White, Rosé, and Red wines which epitomise both the quality and diversity of this amazing region, accompanied by a superb 4 course menu (with canapés) from Head Chef Luke McKenna.
