Super Tuscan Wine Dinner
The Best of Bolgheri and Brunello Di Montalcino – with Saverio de Luca

Bolgheri – situated on the western coastline of Tuscany – is the “Cabernet Capital” of Italy with top wines that challenge the best of Bordeaux. Brunello di Montalcino is the leading Tuscan wine region to the south of Chianti. Here the Sangiovese grape is king.
Saverio de Luca, Export Director of estate owners Allegrini (of Valpolicella fame) will host an evening which showcases the amazing wines from their estates in Bolgheri – Poggio al Tesoro – and Brunello – San Polo. This is a fabulous opportunity to indulge in simply some of the finest wines Tuscany has to offer – complimented by an Italian themed menu from Head Chef, Luke McKenna.
The menu for the evening will be:
Tuscan-style ribolita soup with aged parmesan
Slow-cooked veal shoulder with rosemary confit potatoes, glazed baby carrots and Tuscan kale
Pear and almond frangipane tart with fresh blackberries and crème fraiche
