The Magicians of Marche – Umani Ronchi Winemaker Dinner

Join us as we welcome Silvia Pampaloni of Umani Ronchi to showcase their unique selection of wines.
One of Wine Spectators 34 Best Wineries of Italy and Gambero Rosso’s “Winery Of The Year” in 2024 this is a producer that might not be instantly recognisable, but from the 4th January 1968 (when they started their full-scale winemaking operation) to this day their rise in quality and reputation has been little short of meteoric. From founder Gino Umani Ronchi and through his collaboration with the Bernetti family the focus from day one has been on authenticity, and reflection of vineyard provenance.
We are delighted to showcase an evening of Umani Ronchi wines in the company of Silvia Pampaloni – their UK based wine ambassador. She will guide us through a cross section of their wines which will include examples from Verdicchio, Montepulciano, and Rosso Conero. This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys Italian wines to indulge in one of the new wave regions and producers.

Slow cooked shoulder of lamb with saffron infused Jersey royals, char-grilled asparagus and minted jus

Cheese from Neal’s Yard Dairy – Baron Bigod, Gubben, Ogleshield – served with crackers, gapes & chutney
