WINEMAKER TASTING AND DINNER
Simone Furlong of Leeuwin Estate, Margaret River

Leeuwin Estate was the first top-class producer in Western Australia and is still considered one of the greatest wineries in the whole country. As you may know, Margaret River produces wines of elegance and finesse, very different to the big, heavy style that some may associate with an Aussie style.
Simone will talk us through 8 or 9 wines including the iconic Art Series Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Canapés with the tasting will be followed by roast partridge and then pear tarte tatin, accompanied by more wine from Leeuwin.
